The Ministry of Consumer Affairs(MCA), India has started an initiative sometime back to protect the interest of the consumers. Branded as Jago Grahak Jago this initiative helps get redressal for consumers by connecting with participating companies and getting issues resolved.
You can visit http://www.core.nic.in to register yourself and subsequently your concerns. Though I have not yet got my complaint against Britannia industries resolved, atleast I have got some status updates on the progress.
This is step in the right direction and hopefully the MCA will help consumers get their rights.
