Cancer!

wondering how and why

you have gotten into the lives
of the rich and poor
yeah! with absolutely no cure
you make people terminally ill
just making them eat pill after pill

you have taken many a life
leaving the rest wondering why?

you did not understand the importance of life?

a life that was dear to me
a life that danced for me
a life that taught me.. what is right and what is wrong?
a life that sang me a song
a life that helped me grow to what I am

a life that guided my path
a life that corrected my mistakes
a life that supported my thoughts
a life of a father...my papa

for he will return never ever
but will live in me and my thoughts forever!
